"Lu focu di la pagghia" is a song of disdain for a love that quickly faded, originally released in 1972 by Rosa Balistreri, a Sicilian folk singer deserving of rediscovery and renewed appreciation. Starting from Rosa's deep and dramatic vocals, I crafted this beat, enriched by the contributions of guitarist Luca Accarpio and accordionist Jypsyjobs. Together, we sought to breathe new life into this timeless piece, paying homage to the emotive essence of Rosa Balistreri's musical legacy.
