Mixing different styles has always been a trademark of DJ Farrapo’s music and the new song "Time" is no exception. It’s his second together with Devon Miles and certainly difficult to label or place in a specific musical genre.
The lazy downtempo beat of the verses, doubles in time for the choruses and turns into discofunk exuding vitality and joy. A dub CODA full of tension and dramatic tones given by the Wagnerian harmonization of the strings follows at the end.
Another characteristic color of the tune is given by Bruno Briscik's cello with wha wha and distortion.

Unfortunately time passes and you can't stop it, but as Devon says it's always good “...taking the time to hone up on your character and skill…“.
